Hulk is great but isn't really a hero when you think about and I like Wolverine but he's overated, he's almost impossible to kill but he can be easily beaten by many characters in the marvel universe. If you want to go with actual heroes Iron Man is a close number one but I'd go with Thor hands down. He's not as popular as the others but he was the first to knock Hulk off of his feet. I think his lack of popularity keeps him under the radar but he could even kill Superman if you really think about it.

Cloak and Dagger because they work as a team and you can't have one without the other

lyrix1985 I want to agree with you but I beg to differ. First of all WOLVERINE is NOT overrated!!! That being said I am also a huge Thor fan but according to the JLA/Avengers crossover he simply isnt in Superman's league...(Even went so far as to call him a small god)

I like Wolverine because of his personality and fighting skill but there are a lot of characters who Wolverine would never match up with. He would survive but the fight wouldn't last too long. In terms of the crossover comics, if a writer is bias then he will lean toward who he lies. you can't expect the DC poster boy to take a loss to a character who is often over looked despite his power. If yu really look at Thor's powers most of his fights should end quickly. Him against Superman, both can destroy planets ith a single punch, have super speed, can survive in space etc. but Superman has three weaknesses, one of which is magic, and Thor has plenty of that. Edge goes to Thor.

Spider-Man is one of the most relatable superheroes in the Marvel Universe. Apart from the "miracle exception" that is the freak accident that resulted in his powers, Spider-Man goes through the problems that us normal people face (being an outcast, getting to dates/school on time, paying the rent, holding down a job, geting good grades, facing bullies, mantaining a good marriage, facing a nightmare boss). And, of course, he's a hilarious smart-mouth with one of the best rogue galleries EVER.
