so let me see if i got this right. jim shooter had a problem with the crossover.he leaves marvel. he had a problem with roy thomas who was hired in to script the book.
All-Star Squadron #1 (Sept. 1981). Cover art by penciler-inker Rich Buckler.In 1981, after several years of freelancing for Marvel and a dispute with then editor-in-chief Jim Shooter, Thomas signed a three-year exclusivity writing/editing contract with DC
Waid was unavailable due to an exclusive commitment with company CrossGen, and Busiek became the sole writer on the project.[6] Perez also had an exclusive commitment with CrossGen, but had had a clause written into his contract allowing him to do the series if and when it was approved
so another words.kurt busiek had to finish the book himself and before it was even published had signed a contract with dc. sorry but if you can't see how messed up this whole thing was than i don't know what to tell you. the plot was wrote by a justice league writer{gerry conway}had a grudge with marvel waid the current writer of justice league{at the time}couldn't be there busiek started writing infinite crisis for dc .
this is about who wins and not the politics or which writer is working for which company. fact.a marvel writer finished the story then went to work for dc.sorry but i think this is less reliable then how i figure out matches

Marvel Comics themselves..stan the man lee has stated that the marvel superheroes aren't as powerful as the ones from the Dc Universe. He said that they wanted their heroes to be more down to earth and make them more identifiable to the readers. This is why Spider man catches colds or how the Thing suffers from depression about his grotesque appearance. To be truthfully honest the X-Men were supposed to relate to minorities and people of different sexual preferences. They were scorned by people. That is why their heroes come from real places like New York instead of Smallville, Metropolis, or Gotham. They don't want their heroes being DC and they never will. Oh marvel can play with them in the ballpark but in a true sense they weren't made to COMPETE with DC. They were made to be more approachable even though Hulk has world warred and Thor is a god..Like Superman told him..Maybe a small god..You love marvel and so do I but there is no debate really. That is very reason that Superman had/has more powers then you can shake a stick at. He was given a new one just to cover up sorry story telling if you ask me. Rather then be like Batman and figure it out he just developed a new SUPER HYPNOSIS - VENTRRILOQUISM etc etc etc...It's not a grudge its a fact that they've made perfectly clear every time these two universes have clashed DC has came out on top..I love marvel, grew up a Wolverine fan before anyone ever knew he was cool. Watched DC all my life too..the old super friends and such. But in comparison the two aren't equal but marvel is better. Dc however has the power to take it dude.

also basically the avengers had the match after securing the cosmic cube but because cap knew it would be the end of the universe,he got it for batman.also,yes supes took thor down but as i already pointed out thor said later that another match might not be so kind to the kryptonian now that he has the full scope of supes power.

as far as you saying it took five other avengers to knock supes out.i seen five avengers attacking supes after thor went down and knocking him out.who knows just how many it would have took but i know five did it.that was a team battle and i won't hold it against the avengers that they attacked someone that put down thor.also hulk has done this as well without getting knocked out

www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLTBZrvVHeU&feature=relmfu&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1&safe=activeyour like black holes--i can feel gravity warping around you,the air ionizing like a storms coming i think,i remember beating you just barely that was supes saying that to who he thought was thor.all this was in the crossover but you only remember the part were thor fell and supes said that they aren't as powerful.{thor has lost to the hulk,like it or not}and as i said before,superman has never faught world war hulk.did you see the part were aquamans fists went through vision??that would be the same thing if supes faught the surfer.its one of his powers and supes can't counter this.you still can't tell me how.just that supes would win.

oh,and I know hulks limitations.he lost to zeus who is the second skyfather and only slightly weaker than odin.still he knocked him around and showed he wasn't a punk.that being said,superman has lost matches as well,so acting like he can beat everyone in marvel is just crazy.dr.strange could banish him.silver surfer could drain him of his power.professor x could take control of him{if supes didn't know what was going on}

DC's Justice League one of the most powerful teams ever..w/o stacking it, Beats most marvel teams.
Superman = 1st and MOST powerful Superhero ever created...nuff said.
Wonder Woman = on "par" with Supes in strength..in fact the 3rd strongest character in DC...Also the best melee fighter in the world as stated by batman with super speed and reflexs better then superman.
Martian Manhunter = also a DC heavy hitter as far as strength. One of if not the most powerful psychic minds in DC as well.
The Flash...Fastest man alive..Speed kills and nobody faster then flash. In fact he himself could take out the "normal" powered heroes cap, panther, hawkeye etc before they even have a chance to blink.
Batman = ino best mind in comics..given time he could solve the deficit lol. Also great fighter and leader. plus all those wonderful toys.
Green Lantern = Most weapon in the Universe. Take Hal Jordan here myself and his ring has shattered worlds.very powerful character.
Green Arrow = marvels version is Hawkeye. Toss up who is better. but if flash takes out hawkeye 1st then GA can add support to others.
