I think that everyone, including Marvel comics, seem to forget that Thor is not only the norse god of thunder & lightning, but one of Asgard's greatest warriors. I don't think that he should be unstoppable, as no one in any comic should, but they should still make him a pretty hard character to defeat. With that in mind, no one can just crush Thor. Any comic that would make it so would be the gayest comic ever. Although Marvel vs. DC crossover comics already hold that title. Superman beating the Hulk, ok. Superman knocking the Hulk out? Someone has been hitting the bong way too much. Being a Thor fan, Thor would win. Six matches out of ten. Silver Surfer is one bad dude.

And again, comic characters shouldn't be given that much power. You could read a comic ten years from now where there are a league of Silver Surfers, and Thor crushes all of them. Comics change because the writers change. Aliens beating up on gods? What if it was the christians god? Could Superman or the Hulk or the Silver Surfer beat up on him? Marvel comics seem to forget the fact that Thor is a god.

YOur funny u should do research on what u say, check out the issue where surfer beat the asgardians down. Those gods are nothing but super powered beings just like surfer. Read marvel universe and then if u cant figure it out from there look at the marvel rpg game

I am currently playing a marvel role playing game. It's the one from the 80's made by TSR. You can download the whole freakin' thing from this website. www.classicmarvel.comAt the top of the homepage you will need to go to other stuff, I think. Or downloads or something. They have a whole bunch of books that you can print out. We are having to change some of the rules. We usually play D&D and thier new system, 3.5, is pretty awesome. So this older Marvel game needs some updating. Anyways, that is what that dude wrote for that comic. And it sounds pretty stupid. That guy gave Surfer too much power. If he can do that to them, who would stop him? And how powerful does that make Galactus? Because I've read comics where the Fantastic Four beat Galactus. So the Fantastic Four can take on all of Asgard? Gods are alot more than superpowered beings. Or, at least, they should be. Why have gods if a super-hero is just as powerful or even more powerful than they are?

Well Galactus is well beyond asgardians in power, surfer was his first herald, the rpg is going based off the comics. Thanos is not a god just a super powerful being, gladiator isnt a god but he could whoop heimdall and tyr in a fight.

The role playing game is going off which comics? The Amazing Spider-Man #14? Or The Amazing Spider-Man #314? Because these eras of comics are different. With different writers. That means he could have different powers. Galactus can destroy worlds, so can gods. They can also make them. They were suppossed to be here before almost anything, including Galactus, and if comics go to far away from that, it's just dumb. Where do you get this way beyond from? Because I've had Thor comics where Odin could crush Galactus. That's how powerful they made him.

Lol, ok so what god can destroy a world, and are u serious? See here is a classic example of uuuuu not researching, Galactus came from a universe before the marvel one and there arent any Thor comics where Odin could crush Galactus. Have you heard of the celestials, it seems Odin got beat by them in the destroyer suit. They have never made odin that powerful. Research!!!

I have owned Thor comics where he beats Celestials. Have you owned or read every comic? I really doubt it. I have owned comics where they make Odin so unimaginably powerful, that it is just retarded. He has destroyed worlds in some of my old Thor comics. And I've also owned old ass Fantastic Four comics where they not only beat the Surfer, but they also kick Galactus' ass. These are comics I've read. I've also read comics where the entire Marvel universe could do little to stand up to Galactus. If you are just writing on here to get the last word or something, then more power to you. I am not commenting on anything else, because you make no sense. It seems like you've ran out of nuts to make up, so now you are talking about researching nuts like it's a test. If you, like any comic fan that has been one for a good number of years, know anything about comics, is that they change all the time. How powerful they make them and what they can do.

Think about it slick, the good guys have to win, so fantastic 4 wins or the earth is doomed. So in the case of Galactus losing, well they had the ultimate nullifier, besides Galactus is weakened.

They have beaten Galactus more than once. Silver Surfer helps them in some comics, some comics they do it alone. This one comic with Surfer beatin up the Asgardian gods is one comic. I've had Thor comics where Odin could crush the Silver Surfer. The was those comics. In the majority of comics over time, Thor and Surfer are pretty even characters. And in Marvel, the good guys don't have to win. That's a big difference between Marvel and DC. Superheroes do win alot of fights, but to win 90% of the time, the are going against losers. And the Fantastic Four should always have help against Galactus. At any level of power, he is insane.
