I need a little help on this one. I am not sure who the original members on each team are. I'm surprised I remembered this many. I'll modify this when you guys tell me of more members.
NEW WARRIORS Night Thrasher Marvel Boy Namorita Speedball Firestar

The New Warriors first appeared in Thor comics (I don't know which issue). I think it was around the time of those Acts Of Vengence comics. Thor was fighting with the Juggernaut. Thor was having these seisures (I don't know how that is spelled), because Loki was somehow inside of his mind, and they were causing Thor to faint. Not a very good time to fight the Juggernaut, although no time is. Thor passes out and Juggernaut is beating him with train cars (although elsabor will swear that Thor can be harmed by bullets, in some comics he could, but not ALL of them). He is lying their, helpless, at the hands of Juggernaut, and these kids show up. The New Warriors. I can't remember all of them. It's been awhile since I've owned comics. Night Thrasher was a normal human, that could fight (and he had a skateboard in the early issues, which was cool). Namorita is Namor's cousin. Marvel Boy was some kind of telepath. Speedball used kinetic energy to bounce around, although he wasn't very good at controlling his power. Firestar could shoot fire. She used to be on that older Spider-Man cartoon. I think it was called Spider-Man and friends, or something like that. It was Spider-Man, Iceman, and Firestar. I don't remember if there was more or not on the original team. Anyways, that is an even number, so I guess it doesn't matter. I thought that their first comics were pretty cool. I didn't follow them too much after that.

Hey yeah, Firestar was from Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends cartoon. And thanks for telling me about these New Warriors. Reading about them, I would say they would win(New Warriors), as much as I like the Titans. Well, you win some and you lose some.

It almost seems like these two teams were built to fight each other. I am guessing about who some of the Teen Titans are, but it seems like you could match them up pretty evenly. Maybe Marvel was jealous of DC, and needed something like the Teen Titans. The New Warriors are all teenagers, too. Night Thrasher and Night Wing, hmm. At least they are both cool. I was trying to think of who would be a good opponent for Flash to fight. I think that he would be a difficult opponent. Speedball seems like a very good opponent for him. He doesn't have very much control over his power, though.

Control or not, it would be pretty interesting how he can fight Kid Flash.

Nova was another one of the original members, but since it is even, I don't think that we should include him. He has super-strength and flies.

Then he should try fighting Wonder Girl.

I think that out of the original teams, the New Warriors would win. If these were teams from later on in the comics, I think that the Teen Titans would win, though. I think that these were two good ideas from both companies. Later on the New Warriors get more members. Comics go overboard, I think, on making new characters and how big the teams get. The Justice League and Avengers are two good examples. It's like they have an army of superheroes. If that's what they have then they should constantly be at war with someone or something. The New Warriors end up getting a character called Rage. I think even Darkhawk was a member. That's around when I started to get out of their comics.

Why is that?

Why is it my opinion that superhero group's shouldn't get too many characters? I don't know if that's what you were asking, but that's what I'll answer. A big reason why you should not get too overburdened with heroes is that you can't focus as much on who these characters are. Personalities help make characters liked or hated, and if you try and focus on too many, you will not be able to bring out individuals as well. If you still can, more power to you, but I haven't really seen it done all that well.

I blame it on drugs. Just kidding. I started getting older, and was running all the time and f**king nuts up instead. Wait a minute, maybe I can blame it on drugs. Sorry, Wathanaketh, I am being retarded. I don't collect comics anymore, and don't really read them. I think that is a big reason that I'm glad to see all of these movies being made. Marvel, DC, Image, I don't care what company makes them or what characters they are, as long as the movie is good, I will support them all.

The New Warriors would probably win, but it's close. In one-on-one match-ups, it would be Night Thrasher against Robin, Marvel Boy (he has telekinesis) against Speedy, Firestar against Wonder Girl, Speedball against Kid Flash, and Namorita against Aqualad. Night Thrasher, Marvel Boy, and Namorita would win their fights, with Speedball probably knocked all the way to the moon by Kid Flash because of his lack of control of his powers, and there is no way that Firestar can defeat someone with greater speed, strength, and skills. But the odds would then be against the Titans, and they'd lose.
