rotten tomatoes already has some reviews up for spiderman 3. theres only one bad one that says the movies 'running on fumes.' i can foresee that happening as it tries to wrap up a lot of the storylines, but with the introduction of new villians it should be able to hold its own! www.rottentomatoes.com/m/spiderman_3/

I think rottentomatoes has been eating some rotten tomatoes and is trippin off of them. So far, so good from Spider-Man movies. Why would this one be any different? I've seen alot of previews for this movie and it looks pretty awesome. They are introducing Venom. That alone is bad ass.

I guess we will find out in about a week when it comes out. I kind of hope that Venom is just in the end of the movie, and they save him for Spider-Man 4.

Venom wasn't at just the end of the movie, but Spider-Man still reigns supreme at the top of the movie industry for comics. Just watching the Sandman was f**king awesome. The story to this movie was great. Although Venom fans probably wanted to see him by himself through a whole movie, what they did with him and the story that was going on with him in it was really great. I think that these Marvel movies are showing why Marvel is a better comic book company than DC.

I was upset with this movie for the very same reason I was upset with the last x - men movie. That short changed Juggernaut in x men and in my opinion done exactly the same thing to Venom in Spiderman. Venom has become Spiderman's arch enemy and that is saying something in itself considering everyone that calls themself a super villian usually has a hatred of the friendly neighborhood wall crawler. Venom is bigger, stronger, and about as fast and agile as Spidey as well. He also nullifies Spidey's greatest asset against most opponents and that is his spider sense. I loved the special effects with the Sandman but Venom deserved his own movie as well.

spider-man 3 was an okay movie from the perspective of a normal moviegoer and a good movie from the eyes of a spidophile (Stan Lee's word, not mine). it would have been at least as good as the 1st film, and maybe even as good as the 2nd one, if sandman had been cut out and all the other subplots could've been fully developed (sandman killing uncle ben is kind of out there)

i know, venom wasn't originally going to be in the flick, but if that was the plan it would have been better than what we got

I can't wait for the spidey reboot. Hopefully, it'll make up for Spider-Man 3.
