I've heard alot of people complain about the first movie. Mostly about the lack of fighting in it. I felt like it was a good movie. It should have more fighting in it, but I guess every movie can't be perfect. I think that the 2nd movie has the same problem. It was a really good movie, but it seems like the people making the Fantastic Four movies don't realize what they have to work with. Mr. Fantastic would be really awesome to watch fight because his style of fighting would be very unique. Of course, watching the Thing hurl cars and swing street lights on poles like a baseball bat never seems to get old either. Fans of the Silver Surfer might be a little dissapointed that he wasn't really used enough in the movie. At least, fight scene wise. I didn't like the fact that once he was off of his board, he was rendered powerless, but it went along with the story. The Silver Surfer is still pretty bad ass in this movie though.

Yeah, the Surfer was kind of ruined by being so dependant on his board, but when he was on it, d**n. Mr. Fantastic was really downplayed in the fights, unfortunately, but I find both movies great.

Hated the dependancy on the board and I almost blew a gasket over the ending (I wanted to see Galactus dog gone it.) Also the Surfer supposedly "blowing up" Galactus just left a bad taste in my mouth. Other than that I enjoyed the movie.

I'm not the only one who thinks Galactus looked kinda stupid as a giant cloud, right? And yes, both FF films could've used more fight scenes. Are loads of fights essential to a great superhero flick? Not really; just take a look at the first X-Men movie. But the acting in that movie (except maybe Halle Berry's) was top-notch, the story and dialogue were great, and if felt like a good comic book. FF, however, is a bit lacking overall.
