The only times I have ever heard that term is by vets when they put animals to sleep. So it pretty much means to kill someone or something.

I think that Dave Mustaine is one of the greatest musicains to ever live. He not only writes the lyrics and alot of the music for Megadeth, he is their singer, and plays guitar. Mostly rythem (I couldn't spell that one), but also leads. His attitude sucks though. I think that's why he doesn't ever get enough credit.

Sometimes people get caught up on how talented they are, that they don't realized they are being too thingyy or arrogant.

Oh, I forgot. He spells youthanasia wrong also. It's spelled something like euthanasia. I think he wanted the word youth in it.

Here is a kick ass song by Anthrax. Since they got this singer, John Bush, they have been one of my favorite bands. This song is called Refuse To Be Denied.
Proud and free that's American to me Symptomatically, and so basically It's so definite, freedom is all of it No humanity without restraint
Refuse to be denied refuse to compromise Your ideology always a lie It's jingolstic or nationalistic Or whatever the hell you want to call it
With my raised fist Never be denied I stand and resist again
Proud and free that's a human thing to me Burning at the core, and I'd go to war Ain't gonna change my way of life Twisted rhetoric, I won't subscribe
Refuse to be denied refuse to compromise Your ideology always a lie Imperialistic colonialistic Bandwagon patriot wake up to this
With my raised fist Never be denied I stand and resist again

This song is by Metallica when they were still the kings of heavy metal. I still like them, but they went from being that to a really good rock band. Anyways, this song is called Harvester Of Sorrow.
My Life Suffocates Planting Seeds Of Hate I've Loved, Turned To Hate Trapped Far Beyond My Fate
I Give You Take This Life That I Forsake Been Cheated Of My Youth You Turn This Lie To Truth
Anger Misery You'll Suffer Unto Me
Harvester Of Sorrow Language Of The Mad Harvester Of Sorrow
Pure Black Looking Clear My Work Is Done Soon Here Try Getting Back To Me Get Back Which Used To Be
Drink Up Shoot In Let The Beatings Begin Distributor Of Pain Your Loss Becomes My Gain
Anger Misery You'll Suffer Unto Me
Harvester Of Sorrow Language Of The Mad Harvester Of Sorrow
All Have Said Their Prayers Invade Their Nightmares To See Into My Eyes You'll Find Where Murder Lies
Infanticide
Harvester Of Sorrow Language Of The Mad Harvester Of Sorrow Language Of The Mad Harvester Of Sorrow

Okay, here's a song from that movie Curse of The Golden Flower. It's called Ju Hua Tai(Chrysanthemum Flower Bed). It's a Chinese song, but I found the english translation. Handsome Chinese singer/actor, Jay Chou sings it.
Your tears reflect pain in its tenderness The pale white crescent moon hooks onto the past The endless night turning into frost Who is in the loft, in icy cold despair?
Rain gently bouncing off the vermillion window My entire life on paper, messed up by the wind Dreams become faint in a faraway place The image of you, drifting in the wind
Crushed chrysanthemums reflect our pain, your smile faded Hearts broken into million of pieces like petals falling, I lay my troubles aside Northern winds gush and the night is still young, unable to shake off your shadow Leaving me alone with my reflection in the water
Flowers at dusk, fallen splendor Withering social values, unthinkable fate Don't cross the river, worries tearing out my heart Afraid that you will be unable to get back ashore, floating for the rest of your life
Whose territory is this? Hysterical galloping of horses Fully armoured, my life whizzed me by Coming down, you sigh softly A meloncholy night such tactful indirectness (Repeat)

Without waiting for a reply, here's another Jay Chou song. It's called Huo Yuan Jia(Fearless). It's from the movie Jet Li's Fearless. I really enjoy this song. It's also in Chinese, but I also found the english translation for it. If anyone is interested, check the song out on YouTube. It's in Chinese, but trust me, it sounds a lot cooler in Chinese.
Humph, how many rounds are there in life, the arena is waiting After winning a death duel, who's smiling coldly? Who controls the fraternity? So what if you are the first
Stop interfering in my martial rules My punches and kicks are great, but I only gained a meaningless title The martial fraternity is too hard to predict. Who will be the strongest? Who will have the qualifications to rule the whole fraternity?
Time passes fast in the city, the limp courage washed away my memories I'll remember you, living on proudly Huo Family's punches are flexible
I have lived life and should live to the finish Mistakes and weaknesses will never come from me None can evade when our moves are executed (Repeat)
Yeah, it sounds weird, the Chinese version sounds better.

The lyrics to those two songs are pretty awesome. The first one is sad. The second one is like some Pantera, stronger-than-all, Fight Club type of nuts. Meaning it kicks ass. I guess since you seem unfamilar with Lynyrd Skynyrd, I'll write another one of theirs. This one is called, "Tuesday's Gone."
Train roll on, on down the line. Won't you please take me far away? Now I feel the wind blow outside my door, Means I'm leaving my woman behind. Tuesday's gone with the wind. My woman's gone with the wind.
And I don't know where I'm going, I just want to be left alone. Well , when this train ends I'll try again, But I'm leaving my woman at home.
Chorus Tuesday's gone with the wind, Tuesday's gone with the wind, Tuesday's gone with the wind, My woman's gone with the wind.
Train roll on many miles from my home, See, I'm riding my blues away. Tuesday, you see, she had to be free, But somehow I've got to carry on. (Chorus)

Speaking of Pantera, here is a song called, "Mouth For War."
Revenge. I'm screaming revenge again Wrong. I've been wrong for far too long Been constantly so frustrated, I've moved mountains with less. When I channel my hate to productive, I don't find it hard to impress.
Bones in traction, hands break to hone raw energy Bold and disastrous, my ears can't hear what you say to me
Hold your mouth for the war Use it for what it's for Speak the truth about me, determined.
Possessed. I feel a conquering will down inside me Strength. The strength of many to crush who might stop me My strength is in number, and my soul lies in every one. The releasing of anger, can better any medicine under the sun.
Bones in traction, hands break to hone raw energy Bold and disastrous, my ears can't hear what you say to me
Hold your mouth for the war Use it for what it's for Speak the truth about me, determined.
There comes a time within everyone To close your eyes to what's real No comprehension to fail. I vaccum the wind for my sail Can't be the rest, let others waste my time. Owning success is the bottom line. Like a knife into flesh. After life is to death Pulling and punching the rest of duration No one can piss on this determination
