marvel copied dc first if you don't believe me ask stan lee yourself he already admitted it when he said jla way outsold anything marvel had at the time so his response to that was coming up with the fantastic 4 get your facts strait before posting he said it in the introduction in the jla/avengers crossover

Actually calvinrivera Marvel straight up copied DC with the Avengers. If you have the Avengers vs JLA crossover read the prolog they admit it freely because DC was doing well with Justice League that's when Marvel decided to do The Avengers. I personally like the Avengers better because I'm more of a Marvel fan, but DC had dibs on this one.

Im a Marvel fan through and through. More "believable" character. I mean almost every hero in DC is what I consider a "World Beater" Marvel seems to be trying to "Catch up" in this area and that bothers me. I mean they have made Thor into Marvel's version of Superman. I went to the Marvel Database to look up some stats and was just shaking my head. Although nobody can ever compete with the ridiculousness that is Superman in my opinion. I mean Im not a "hater" persay of Superman. Truth, Justice, and the American Way is cool, but just being unstoppable and unhurtable is ridiculous. He has no real threat unless you bring in another World beater such as Doomsday or Darkseid.

marvel definitely has way more believable/relatable characters. wolverinefan got it right: dc has waaayyyy too many overpowered heroes and villains

and yes, stan lee did copy DC in that he used the idea of a superhero team for his Fantastic Four comic series (compare original justice league to fantastic four, see the lack of significant parallels)
